Introduction
I have recieved a phone call from a friend, her son has got visual impairment and i am going to help customize his computer for him so it will make it easier for him to work.
In this picture i am going to minimize the ribbon to make the page easier to look at stand out by clicking on the quick access toolbar and going to the bottom and clicking on minimize the ribbon.
In this picture the ribbon is minmized so it will make the information stand out.
In this picture i am going to add font style to the quick access toolbar so that he does not have to look far for it by clicking on the the quick access toolbar and clicking on More commands.
Then when you click on it you drag over the icons you want to have on your quick access toolbar.
In this picture i am going to make the screen a blue backround with white text so the imformation will be easier to read by clicking on page layout on the toolbar at the top of the screen.
Then i am going to make the page blue by clicking on page colour then selecting blue .
In this picture i am going to change the colour of the writting to white by clicking on font colour .
In this picture the page is blue and the writing is white to make the writting more clearer and easy to see.
In this picture i am changing the resolution to a higher resolution so the writtin will be bigger.
In this picture i am going to turn the narrator on so that he can hear instead of having to see. You do this by clicking on the start icon and then clicking on accessories.
Then you click on ease of access.
Then finally click on narrator.
In this picture i have turned on the magnifier so that the writting will be zoomed in by clicking on the start icon then clicking on accessories the ease of access the finally clicking on magnifer.
INTRODUCTION
This is my introduction on why I customized the computer for a the boy who has visual impairment, I am going to show you how minimizing the ribbon, adding font style to the quick access toolbar, changing to a blue background, white writing, changing the resolution to high and using a magnafier will help the boy with his visual impairment. All these tools are very helpfull.

Minimize the ribbon
I minimized the ribbon to help the young boy because it will help stop screen clutter when the ribbon is minimized it means you can only see the tabs Ribbons are the modern way to help users find, understand, and use commands directly with a minimum number of clicks and without having to refer to Help.
Adding font style to quick access toolbar
Adding font style to the quick access toolbar will help the boy because he will not have to keep searching for the icon all over the computer which will make it more accessible and easier to find.
Blue background and white writing
I added a blue background and I changed the writing to white because it will help make him see a bit clearer as the writing is white the information he is looking at will stand out far more and this will be very helpfull.
Changing resolution to high
Changing the resolution to high will help because you will be able to fit more information on the screen and the fonts will look better and clearer and it also has better colour so that the information will stand out very clearly .
Magnifier
Using the magnifier on Microsoft Word is very usefull. You can some into any piece of writing you want and the writing will be very big. This will be very helpfull to the boy due to his condition.
Another good point is that you can customize all these tools to do exactly what them to do, such as changing the resolution. You can change the resolution to whatever you want and you can change the background colour to what ever you want depending on what stands out more clearly for the boy.
